Sounds of Maine is an ongoing audiovisual project documenting the sounds and sights of Maine. Its goal is to enable moments of vicarious travel, meditation, and immersion in this state's endlessly intriguing natural and manmade spaces.

Certain browsers may block autoplay of audio or video. You can usually configure this in your browser settings. For example, in Chrome, check Site Settings > Media and make sure Autoplay is enabled. iOS devices will also disable autoplay of media when in low power mode.

Nope! While that website does appear to be heavily inspired by the branding, copy, and overall concept of Sounds of Maine, this was done without my permission or involvement. It is the official stance of Sounds of Maine that the creators of This is How Maine Sounds should be publicly tarred and feathered as recompense.
